At Mosham Autos, we are committed to sourcing quality vehicles and providing a transparent importation process. These terms explain the responsibilities of both Mosham Autos and the customer. By engaging Mosham Autos and making payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
A commitment deposit of ₦1,000,000 is required before vehicle sourcing and inspection begin. This deposit forms part of the total purchase price of the vehicle.
The deposit is refundable if: Mosham Autos is unable to secure a suitable vehicle within the agreed budget and specifications; or the transaction cannot proceed due to factors outside the customer's control.
The deposit becomes non-refundable once: the customer approves a vehicle sourced by Mosham Autos; the customer authorizes Mosham Autos to proceed with purchase; or Mosham Autos has incurred sourcing, inspection, administrative, or financial commitments on the customer's behalf.
Mosham Autos is committed to acting in good faith and sourcing the best available vehicle within the customer's approved budget and specifications.
Before purchase authorization, the customer will receive available information about the vehicle, including photographs, inspection reports, auction or dealer details, and vehicle history where obtainable.
Mosham Autos will not purchase any vehicle on behalf of the customer without the customer's approval.
Mosham Autos sources vehicles from licensed auctions, dealerships, and private sellers in Canada and the USA.
The customer acknowledges that: vehicles, especially auction or salvage units, are sold "as-is, where-is" by the original seller; pre-owned and salvage vehicles may have visible or hidden defects and may require repairs after purchase; and Mosham Autos makes reasonable efforts to inspect and disclose the available condition of each vehicle using the information obtainable from the seller or auction source.
Mosham Autos cannot guarantee the mechanical condition of pre-owned or auction vehicles beyond the information shared before purchase approval.
Quoted prices generally cover: vehicle purchase cost; auction or dealer fees; local transportation to port; container loading and ocean freight; and customs clearance.
Additional charges may apply separately where applicable, including but not limited to: port storage fees; demurrage charges, currently ₦50,000 per day after 7 days from vehicle arrival if payment or clearance is delayed; and any government-imposed charges, customs duties, inspection fees, or regulatory fees not included in the initial quotation.
Mosham Autos will notify the customer of any known additional charges as soon as practicable.
A ₦1,000,000 commitment deposit is required before sourcing begins.
A 50%–70% deposit may be required to reserve or secure an approved vehicle.
The remaining balance must be fully settled no later than 10 days before the vehicle's arrival in Nigeria.
If the customer fails to complete payment after approving the purchase, Mosham Autos reserves the right to cancel the transaction. In such cases, reasonable costs already incurred, including sourcing, inspection, administrative expenses, and financial commitments made on the customer's behalf, may be deducted from the deposit, up to ₦1,000,000, before any applicable refund is processed.
Estimated transit time is 6–8 weeks, but this may vary due to vessel schedules, weather conditions, port congestion, customs inspections, and regulatory processes.
Mosham Autos will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed of shipping progress. However, Mosham Autos will not be responsible for delays caused by shipping lines, ports, customs authorities, or other third parties.
Once a vehicle has been approved by the customer, purchased on the customer's behalf, and handed over to the shipping company, responsibility for risks associated with shipping and transit rests with the customer.
Mosham Autos acts as a sourcing and logistics facilitator and is not liable for loss, damage, theft, or claims arising during transit. However, Mosham Autos will continue to assist by providing updates and supporting any claims that may need to be made with the shipping company where applicable.
All vehicles imported through Mosham Autos are pre-owned or salvage vehicles and may require repairs.
No warranty is provided beyond the details and condition information shared before purchase approval.
Refunds are not available after the customer has confirmed the purchase or made payment commitment toward an approved vehicle, except where otherwise expressly stated in these terms.
Mosham Autos will provide the customer with reasonable updates throughout the importation process, including: purchase confirmation; available photos and videos; shipping schedule; container number and tracking link, or vessel information for RORO shipments; and arrival and clearance updates where available.
Mosham Autos will only provide official bank account details for payments. We will never request payment to personal accounts or unrelated third parties.
Customers are advised to confirm payment instructions directly with Mosham Autos before making payment.
Customers must arrange pickup or delivery of the vehicle promptly after arrival notice and clearance.
Vehicles not collected within 7 days of arrival notice may attract storage fees. Vehicles that remain unclaimed for an extended period, defined as 30 days after written notice to the customer, may be resold. Any refund arising from such resale will be subject to administrative, storage, handling, and related deductions.
Mosham Autos is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from vehicle purchase, shipping, customs clearance, delivery, or delays caused by third parties.
Nothing in these terms limits Mosham Autos' responsibility to act honestly, transparently, and in accordance with the customer's approved instructions.
By making payment to Mosham Autos, the customer confirms that: they understand the risks associated with purchasing pre-owned or salvage vehicles; they have read and accepted these terms in full; and they authorize Mosham Autos to act on their behalf for the approved vehicle sourcing and importation process.
Ownership of the vehicle remains with Mosham Autos until full payment has been confirmed and cleared.
